Newborn Baby Photography – Danika

Danika, meaning: Morning Star, Morning star is the name given to the planet Venus when it appears in the east before sunrise. Danika was born on Tuesday, 22 May 2012 at 11:30. A healthy, beautfull girl, with lots of hair, 3.155 kg and 50cm.

The song that topped the charts on her birthday, is one of my current favourtie songs!!

Today, I decided to do a newborn shoot, on 19 days, and she was such a great model! I managed to get some great images in a very short time.

Here are some of the imges of the photoshoot…..

The Marvelous instant

There are many reasons for shooting pictures, not least the adrenalin pumping moment of knowing you’re caught a marvelous instant, but it’s all a little empty if all the results end up in a little yellow box in a cupboard. - Patrick Ward

Split second, last a lifetime

The thing itself need only exist for one two-fiftieth of a second, the time it takes to take a photograph. It is the photograph which need have the duration since it is the photograph which is printed in newspapers and magazines, sent through the post, broadcast through the air, projected onto walls––not the event itself.

Wedding Album

With a simple little flower in my hand; Plucking the petals, falling to the sand; Hoping to determine what I knew not; She loves me, she loves me not? True love eventually did for us bloom; Standing side by side - Bride and Groom. Eternalising the wondrous event! Posing, smiling, capturing the moment; That flower has long disintegrated; One thing that was not wasted; That album with every photograph; Brings back memories, makes us laugh!
